CCS Phoenix:
The CCS Phoenix is the remodeled,
re-christened strike carrier that became the
template for the vastly improved Ulysses
class carrier. Capable of carrying up to 36
dropships and / or fighters, and a crew of
over twelve hundred, the Phoenix began
life as the CCS Andromeda. When the world of Novus Prime
declared allegiance to the Colonial Commonwealth, the
Andromeda successfully defended the planet against the
corporate fleet blockading the planet. Following the engagement,
the CCS Andromeda pulled into port at Oasis and underwent
complete reconstruction. Two years later, the ship was
rechristened the CCS Phoenix. Now, twenty years later, the
Phoenix is still serving proudly in the Colonial Defense Force.
CCS Ulysses:
The CCS Ulysses is the newest, most
powerful weapon in the CDF arsenal. The
flagship of the CDF fleet, the Ulysses is
twice as big as previous naval carriers.
Carrying over 100 transports and fighter /
strike spacecraft, the Ulysses leads Strike
Force Omega in a constant, vigilant patrol throughout all the
systems of the Colonial Commonwealth. The Ulysses is
undisputedly the most powerful military ship in space, at least
until its sister ship, the CCS Perecles, enters service in two years.
Dropship:
The TT-113 Gryphon dropship is the
workhorse light transport used in the
Colonial Defense Force. Capable of
carrying an entire squad of marines and
their equipment, the TT-113 is well
armored and armed with a M-99 Pulse
Blaster Cannon below the nose. The TT-113 Gryphon is a
common, and welcome, sight for members of the Colonial
Marines.
Avenger Strike Fighter:
The F-180 Avenger Strike Fighter is a
multi-role aircraft capable of action both in
space and atmosphere. Armed with the
M-99 Pulse Blaster Cannon and a
compliment of ASM-15 missiles, the
Avenger is sleek, deadly, fast, and
efficient.
Strike Feet Omega:
Strike Feet Omega is the largest fleet within the Colonial Defense Force (CDF) and is believed to be invincible. The fleet's existence inspires colonists with the belief that they are protected from possible, though unlikely, hostile alien attacks. Lead by the impressive flagship Ulysses, Strike Force Omega maintains a vigilant patrol throughout all the inhabited Colonial Commonwealth star systems.
