Personal History

Schmarvod is the great-great-great-great-grandnephew of the Hardfoot Clan Leader Musashi. Schmarvod was born to Marvok and Flariola in the village of Bartok on Luvad. He was born on the 16th day of the seventh month in the year 437 in the Fourth Age.

Having been born a Hardfoot, Schmarvod is bigger than the average dwarf. He stands five feet eleven inches and weighs in at a slim 475 pounds. When asked how big he is, Schmarvod tells people he is four foot twenty-three inches tall. This goes back to when someone told him he wasn't a dwarf because dwarves are all between four and five feet tall.

Schmarvod's youth was typical for that of a Hardfoot. He elarned the use of the axe and sword, but prefers the sword. He was also taught the use of the bow and spent a fair amount of his youth hunting for the village, especially during the winter. When he got older, he decided to follow his uncle Darvod as a thief.

Once he started adventuring, he never looked back.

Personality and Other Traits

Schmarvod does not follow the practice of some dwarves in eating other people, although he does joke about liking the flavor of elf, especially slow broiled.

Being an earthbrother means that he does worship Grabben along with his chosen god Semerh, Mistress of Thieves. Schmarvod joined the following of Semerh in order to sneak up on people, and to keep from being snuck up on. He enjoys surprising people be sneaking up on them, then accusing them of being blind to have missed a four foot twenty- three inch tall dwarf walking next to them.
