Welcome to my Sports page. Not much, I know, but there aren't all that many sports that I enjoy. NHL hockey and NASCAR, really. I do watch a bit of football, but not religiously or anything. Anyway, I am a big Boston Bruins fan...and although the team is underachieveing this season, there are still many young players there who are developing into very capable players. I am also a fan of NASCAR Winston Cup Racing. I watch a little of the Grand National series, but mostly races with Mark Martin, #6, in the Valvoline Ford Taurus for Winston Cup (on the Busch SEries he drives the Winn-Dixie #60 Ford Taurus.) He is one heck of a driver, and always waits patiently to make his pass. He does not engage in the physical bumping and shoving that so many other WC drivers do. He wins races due to his skill, and will not push others around in order to get to the front. I guess you have to be a NASCAR WC fan to understand what I am saying. The
NASCAR site is full of stats and info on the teams and drivers, as well as
info about the various tracks. NASCAR is not for everyone, as a lot of people
complain that they just drive around in circles. But actually going to a race
and watching it gives you a whole different perscpective as to the abilities
of the drivers and cars. It is a blast!
