Explore Saith

This section deals with arriving in Saith, finding the Sea Charts, and getting ready to fight the boss (the blue slime guy).

Monsters you fight here:

Killer Fly (not spinning)

Fast, just like Mutant Fly except it hits harder

Killer Fly, spinning

This bee has a long-range, diving attack (Killer Sting) that hits very hard

Mutant Ant

Pretty slow, only has a short-range hitting attack, can poison you.

Mantle Rapper

Looks like the FlyTrapper, just a little tougher

Items to find here:

• Herb x3
• 400 silver

You arrive in Saith, ready to sail to Meribia, but the boat cannot leave. After exploring the city (did you see the locked red chest?), talk to the Captain, and then the dock master (behind the counter where the Captain is). Then, you have to talk to Brett. He challenges you to a simple game of chance (ha!); make sure you have 200 silver. Ramus catches on, and you risk the Dragon Diamond; of course, you win.

However, he does not have the Sea Chart. You now have to travel NW to the house in the woods there. You also get the Fortune Cane to trade her for the Sea Charts. There are new monsters to fight here (see above).

Once you get through the woods (don't forget to find all the chests!), you find a set of traps. You rescue someone from the last one, and he joins your party ... ok, I'll tell you who. It is Nash. He is a magic-user, with some attack spells. Some of them have an area affect, so make sure you try targetting different monsters (sides versus middle). Now go explore the Hag's house. She will negotiate with you for the Sea Chart; Nash has to give up his cane. You can have either Luna or Ramus ask Nash to give it up, but Ramus just tries to bully him.

Return to Saith, and a monster is attacking the ship! Make sure you touch the statue on the way to get healed, and I would probably save right there also. Find the captain, and you get to fight a "boss."
