Dragon Diamond

This section is where you have the Dragon Diamond, and are trying to figure out who to sell it to.

Monsters you fight here:

None

Items to find here:

  • 1,000 silver

Now you have the Dragon Diamond. Leave the cave, avoiding the monsters as you can (or fighting them again -- you get more experience and money). Just as you get into the last (large) room, you may have noticed a crystal (breakable) to the north; if you get a Baboon to break it, then you are just two monsters away from the exit.

Return to town, Nall wants to get healed at the statue; you may not need to be healed, but this is where you find the next task. Then, Ramus wants to sell the Diamond. Go to the item shop; she cannot afford the diamond, so you should go to Meribia. If you talk to Ramus now, he will tell you that Meribia is over the water, and you have to go through Saith, a town to the SW.

As you leave the item shop, Luna wants to go home; as you cross the bridge, Ramus wants to talk to you alone. You agree to go to Meribia with him (the "I'm sorry, Ramus, I just can't" choice basically brings up the same question), and to leave Luna here. Don't worry about equipping yourself with better armor and weapons, you'll be coming back.

You could enter the Weird Woods now; I would suggest talking to your parents first. Only a little ways into the woods, and Ramus runs off screaming. If you try to enter again immediately, the same thing happens. Return to Burg with Ramus, and talk to Luna, your dad, your mom (you get 1,000 silver), then Luna again, and your dad again. You go to sleep, and you get a short video sequence. The next day you leave on your adventure. Get Ramus from the town entrance; if you need better armor or weapons, get them before you leave town.
