Description:

Hadya was originally settled by Belarans, and until the Dark Wars was inhabited almost solely by their clans. Today, Hadya is populated by Belarans, Matawi, Tulmarians, humanoids and non-humans. But it is dominated by orcanians. The nation is torn in a bloody revolutionary war against the orcanian oppressors and their Corlennian allies. Hadya utterly collapsed under the ravenous attack of the humanoid armies during the Dark Wars. Once the Corlennian Empire had won their Righteous Jihad, Hadya was given to the orcanians. Brutally plundered and mortally wounded, the face of Hadya was forever changed by the Dark Wars.

Tens of thousands of Belarans perished in the wake of the orcanian butchery. Most who survived were enslaved, and subjected to all manner of atrocities. The orcanians of Hadya became the quintessential ideal of the orc race. Their actions were an abomination in the face of principled and ethical society. Throughout most of the Corlennian Renaissance, orcs ruled Hadya. It was not until after Mharow's disappearance that unrest and discontent began to weaken the orc tribes. But it was not until 938 BY, after two centuries of orc subjugation, that Hadya rebelled against the orcanians.

Hadya is a war-ravaged nation. For nearly twenty years, its people have been fighting for freedom from the orcanians. The human populace is supported in part through merchant trade with sympathetic, neighboring countries. The orcanians, however, are completely separated from their nations in the Centurion Mountains. But despite their lack of support, the orcs are a vile and bitter oppressor who do not easily relinquish their ill-gotten spoils.
