- Description:
- Having only recently been settled by grand knights of Throntis following their victorious War of the Moons, Jitregann is the newest nation of Kaladia. It is a nation still experiencing its birth, and many have flocked to its cities in search of the challenges and fortunes the Free State has to offer. Merchants from as far as the District of Calthayes and the Silver League have begun investing in Jitregann, and the Free State is a prospering home for new commerces and industries.
- The Free State is a narrow stretch of land bordering the eastern edge of the Silverpeak Mountains between the Plains of the Blood Moons and the nation of Eirinland. It is a dry land with more rocky hills, gray soil and scrub brush than grassy meadows and lush forests. But the Free State beckons to those seeking to escape the oppression of the lands of Blacksword and Pejduhl, to slaves and serfs fleeing the impoverishment of the Kulaton Empire, and to barbarian outcasts from the Wilds of the Blue. Jitregann has also become a new home for many of the mercenaries and men-at-arms who fought in the War of the Moons. Not surprisingly, with the strong military presence and the looming threat of the Blood Moons, strongholds and walled fortifications outnumber farming communities in the state.
