| Elongated Man gained his amazing elasticity after drinking Gingold, a
drink that he had seen circus rubber men drink. It affected him far more strongly, though,
allowing his to stretch to great lengths. At first, he used his powers to compete with the
Flash, looking for fame. Later, though, he joined the Justice
League of America and fought crime alongside his old rival. He stayed with the various
incarnations of the League until recently, when he and his wife, Sue,
quit, deciding to take a long needed break from the super-hero business. |
