Yeah... animated gifs rock, only when they are small in size and they do not
take AGES to load up. Again this is a waste of bandwidth and if site traffic is heavy, you
may be VERY disadvantaged! Your pages might not even load up at all! And we all know that
sucks!!!! |

Not everyone has a 56.6 kbps MODEM, try to keep that in
mind! |

Besides, what do you base your page on? Animated Gifs? Guess
not, people visit your site because of your content. People do not look at nice pretty
animated gifs for hours on the net! So these gifs may distract their attention from your
content to your gifs...

Gifs are all right if they are used
for the following only : -

Used for creating link to other places, or if small enough
can be used as a bullet list image, such as this example:

considerably less time to render text than images. |
