So, now that Keiichi's been living with Belldandy for about 5 months, you'd think he's kinda used to being around her, right? Not quite.. Keiichi's still as shy as he was when he first met Belldandy (hey, the guy doesn't have a lot of luck with the ladies, what's he supposed to do?). Megumi, in the meantime, is still living with them, and she suggests that Keiichi take Belldandy to the beach. Keiichi's kinda uptight about the idea since he doesn't have a lot of cash on him, and also coz he can't swim. But Belldandy's never been to the beach before, so she gets excited about the idea, and Keiichi takes her anyway. While Keiichi's at the temple alone, a mysterious package arrives. Unibomber? Nope, just a video tape. Keiichi's a bit curious by now so he pops it into his VCR. The body of a sexy woman appears on the screen, but that's not the strange part. The weird part is when the figure climbs out of the TV and tries to seduce Keiichi (not yer normal porno vid). And if that isn't weird enough, the figure turns out to be another goddess, Belldandy's big sister, Urd. She advises Keiichi to take the beach trip as an opportunity to put the make a move on Belldandy.
Urd disappears.. for now. She returns as soon as Keiichi and Belldandy are at the beach. When Keiichi is alone, Urd asks him what his plans are. Keiichi manages to turn a new shade of red and lets her know that he was thinking of starting out by holding hands. Urd, however, promptly puts down his ideas of subtlety and gives Keiichi a bottle containing one of her love potions. She tells Keiichi to rub it on Belldandy. But, being one of Urd's ideas, things don't go exactly according to plan. As Keiichi is about to rub some of the lotion onto Bell's back, the oh-so-posh Sayoko shows up to say hallo. Keiichi gets way nervous and manages to drop the bottle, and the potion spills out onto the sand.
Urd is a bit more than annoyed with Keiichi for messing up her ingenious plan, but comes up with another one almost as quickly. So, Keiichi ends up taking Belldandy out to sea in a little boat. Belldandy stands up to get closer to Keiichi but accidentally falls on him. They're about to kiss when they're interrupted.. again. Sayoko and her friends show up in their cruiser and nearly run over Keiichi and Belldandy. Keiichi falls into the water (which is pretty fatal since he can't swim), but Belldandy quickly saves him.
Belldandy brings him back to where they're staying and sits beside the bed crying over the unconscious Keiichi. Belldandy manages to blame herself for everything, but Keiichi wakes up and tells her it wasn't her fault. Belldandy, being a strong believer in taking responsibility for one's actions (and everyone else's actions), refuses to be comforted. But, to make matters worse for Keiichi, Urd shows up and yells at him for making Belldandy cry. Her genius idea for redeeming himself is to have him prove that he really loves Belldandy. So Urd hands him another love potion, this one designed to make him fall in love with the first girl he sees. Being the guy Keiichi is, he gulps it down quickly.
As usual, Urd's idea is messed up again. Instead of Belldandy being the first girl he sees, Keiichi sees Sayoko, who's come to apologize for what happened earlier. Under the influence of Urd's potion, Keiichi can't seem to control what he's doing, and he manages to tell Sayoko that he loves her, not Belldandy. And of course, Belldandy walks in just as Keiichi's professing his love for Sayoko and starts to cry.
Keiichi's feeling horrible because he didn't mean any of what he said. He runs off toward the beach and Belldandy follows him, feeling that he needs help. She catches up to him and finds her explanation when the empty potion bottle drops from Keiichi's hand. Belldandy's thoroughly PO'd by now, so she yells for Urd to show herself (potions are to Urd as thorns are to roses). Urd appears and says there isn't anything she can do about the effects of the potion. Belldandy can't believe what's happening and says she'd even give up her job as a goddess if she could just have him back. She gently kisses Keiichi, and he awakens from the trance. He holds her close, and Urd sighs and says that at least it's a start. As she heads back to heaven she's immediately blasted back to earth for tampering with the ultimate force. So now Urd's stuck living with Keiichi, Belldandy and Megumi for awhile. Keiichi is amazingly happy about it (even after all the grief Urd put him thru), and says that now he'll have twice as much fun.
