Keiichi dreams of giving Bell a ring, but then she turns into an angel and tells him that she's sorry, but she's got to go back to heaven. Suddenly, he wakes up in a panic, and finds Belldandy by his side asking what's wrong. Keiichi tells her it was nothing, but Belldandy knows there's more than what he's telling.
Everyone awakens the next morning to find the temple grounds covered with snow... but it's summer. Urd and Skuld immediately begin a snow fight. Skuld uses her wits to build a snowball throwing creation while Urd uses her magic to create a giant snowman. They don't realize it at the time, but snow has only fallen inside the temple walls. Urd gets blamed for it, but she doesn't really know what's happened. Skuld uses her mecha to clear away snow while Keiichi goes up to the roof to shovel off the heavy snow on top. He manages to lose his balance and fall when he sees a strange furry thing. Luckily Belldandy uses her powers to keep him from getting hurt, but the creature is diagnosed as a bug. So, Skuld pulls out her hammer and squashes it, making the snow vanish as well.
The whole gang heads inside and encounters another bunch of weird happenings. Skuld snoops around a bit and finds the source of the problem ~ a bug portal in the kitchen. Briefly after this Belldandy's father (God) calls her up on the phone and tells her she's got 3 days before she's got ot come back to Heaven. She's upset, but she apologetically tells Keiichi about it.
Things back at NIT get kinda weird when Keiichi and Belldandy are away. Their classmates begin to wonder if they've broken up. Sayoko takes this opportunity to try to snag Keiichi. Belldandy stops by the college to bring Keiichi some tea. He's so gung-ho that he runs to meet her.. but as he gets closer a window shatters. Belldandy stops and runs away as Sayoko asks Keiichi if he's allright. Later on, while eating lunch Belldandy tries to confront Keiichi again. This time a vending machine blows up and Belldandy runs off in tears.
Megumi talks to Keiichi about the problem, and he tells her that Belldandy is going back to her family. Megumi suggests that he buy her a ring as a going-away present of sorts, so Keiichi goes hunting for jobs to scrape up enough money.
Belldandy, meanwhile, runs into Sayoko, who threatens to take Keiichi away if she leaves. When Belldandy gets back home, her sisters tell her that the cherry tree by the temple is the source of all their problems. For some reason Belldandy is totally wigged out about the tree. Keiichi comes home and tries to talk to her, but every time he gets closer a different part of the temple explodes. Bell can't stand what's happening and runs inside.
