Profile: Daerius was a character that comes from an uncertain history, and ended up being discovered sometime in the late 2000s. Originally fused with a symbiote very similar to that of Zelgato Darkwulfe (and indeed they seem to have a past knowing one another), Daerius started out as a powerful albeit headstrong Paladin turned to the path of the Sith, learning such mystical powers as Force Lightning and using it with abandon. However, he was not fully conformed to an evil path, and upon meeting Walker Akero, he turned his blade from the ever-darkening path to an attempt at justice. This lead him to eventually join the UGoI, sometime circa 2002.

Daerius had been trained as a Paladin as part of his Half-Celestial history, and it is unclear why he turned to his Sith Lord. However, by the time he returned to start his process to joining the UGoI, Daerius had turned his efforts back to Paladin works, although his focus turned less to helping the helpless and spreading holy prayer, and more to trying to generate enough power to equal his rivals--such as Walker Akero. He assumed many powers with the use of his Symbiote from Walker and gang, and did everything he could to try and one-up the assumed competition, up to and including making a company called DaETeC (Development and Engineering Technology Corporation) in Seattle, Washington to directly rival the P.S.I. Tech branch in the same city that the Akero family owned.

In 2003, Walker and Daerius squared off in a final testament of their power, with Walker claiming victory, and had a brief re-appearance in 2004 that caused the surfacing of Ark'ah'zahd the Archlich into Sheffield Arms Inn for the first time. With cryptic words spoken from the Arch Lich, Daerius seemed to be uncertain if he was on the right path in his life any longer... Or if he had seriously derailed himself and his mission as a holy entity attempting to be God's #1 Champion. Since then, he disappeared, unknown to his whereabouts but ultimately with his wife and children, no doubt redefining his existence, with Daniel Tobias moving to gain all the customers he could from Daerius' deteriorating company.

Personality: Daerius is his own worst enemy. He has built a wonderful rep for himself and now everyone wants him to live up to it. He will walk the walk and talk the talk, but only as long as he is confident he can win. He wants all the fame for himself, and is overconfident enough to challenge opponents who obviously outmatch him. And, of course, once he realizes the trouble he's in, Daerius will do his best to sneak off. Daerius' Depression represents the fact that almost anything he tries to do backfires in some way.

Walker's Comments (Spoilers, misc. details)

Strengths: Daerius has a self confidence that can not be questioned (even when it needs to be). He is a driven man (especially after Zelgato made things worse) and will never turn away from a fight. His martial arts style is fast and furious containing quick kicks and powerful punches.

Weaknesses: Daerius' self confidence is not completely well founded. Many of his "ranged attacks" have a range just a foot or two past what he could reach with a punch. Daerius has a stubborness that rivals Joesph's and he has a style that he takes an unfounded pride in. (It is an honest martial arts style, but does not bring Daerius guaranteed victory like he seems to act like it does). Oh yeah!...There is a rumor that Zelgato is Daerius' father... that can't be good.
