Mercy was the adopted daughter of Slane Trueheart, and a Half-Dark Elf that was bitten by a Werewolf, infecting her with Lycanthropy. Learning powerful techniques that would make her a Master of Many Forms, Mercy has no shape that she calls her own. Instead, she occupies whatever body is most expedient for her at the time, often taking the appearance of a full-blooded Dark Elf despite her lineage.

Mike is the most powerful of the original UGoI, although his abilities are still dwarfed by Rahan and Walker. He was once Walker's rival when they were young, but they later became best friends. A Christian monk, Mike is willing to sacrifice his life for Earth (and he has many times), and whenever possible he is at Walker's side.

A tall, muscular man, Mike's hair is blood-red and swoops forward over his right eye with an often spiked look. He wears a short black jacket with no collar and a white crescent moon on the back. Under that he wears a long white shirt with a massive collar, black trousers, black boots, a thin black collar, and a bizarre strap-like thing between his knees. On duty, Mike Wolf usually wears camouflage pants, a khaki tank top, and combat boots, plus military dog tags. He stands 6 feet tall, and is powerfully, but lightly, built, weighting a mere 165 pounds of flesh-ripping terror. When he lights a cigarette, he does so with a tiny purple flame he conjures from his fingertip. Rather self-centered, thinking of everybody else around him as mere bothers. His only goal is to see The Xni dead by his hands, and won't let anybody else even try it. He plays music when he's not thinking about how many ways to kill Xni, and manages to gather quite a crowd. He hates violence, but he's so propense to it, for some reason. Mike Wolf has been through a lot, and it shows in his steely eyes. He's a patriot to the last, and believes very firmly in his country. These days, he is consumed with the desire to avenge Ryoko.
