Profile: In 2001, Joesph had finally gotten over his relationship problems with his Sarah long enough to turn his eyes to an impressionable young half-saiyajin named Katherine, or Kat. Deducing the current relations between his brother Walker and his girlfriend Abby--who was also Half-Saiyajin--Joesph befriended the girl to the point of romance. Her background and history are left vague and she is not ever highly associative with the rest of the UGoI cast, but she finds herself a beneficial assistance to their cause, and eventually is signed up as both a UGoI member and a team mate aboard Akero Investigations, particularly in the arc concerning Gameron Garcross and his turn to evil.

Kat left with her husband and children, along with the rest of the House of Kane minus Walker and Rahan. Whether she, too, turned to the Dark Side, or whether she was just being a typical wife in honoring her husband's decisions no matter where he might take her is left uncertain, but there's no doubt about it that she'd pit herself as an enemy of the UGoI-ESF and the Akero family line if push came to shove. Never one to exactly trust Walker anyway due to his Demonic origin, it's still fairly likely that she was a good person, duped into her shift in position without realizing it until it was far too late. After all, once entering the "good life" under the DeDaMon Empire, you can never leave.

Kat met her fate when her brother-in-law Mekhal began his uprising, along with the vast majority of the other Kane family.

Personality: As a rule, Saiyajins are very arrogant. They consider themselves to be the most powerful race around, the undisputed "Princes of the Universe" and view all other races with contempt. The only person they don't look down on is Freezer, probably because he was the one person in the universe they could not defeat. They are also supposed to be "inherently evil' and take great joy in combat and fighting. Kat's training gave her almost military devotion to killing, and she was rather awkward dealing with things that her training didn't prepare her for (such as boys). If Kinji (who preceeded her) was an example of a Saiyajin with no sense of responsibility, Kat was the opposite extreme, a Saiyajin so devoted to duty that she had no concept of a normal life. Dealing with Joesph (and American culture in general) helped Kat mellow out somewhat, but she died before she really had time to grow.
