Profile: In the year 2000, Slane Trueheart's adopted daughter was brought before the UGoI to be introduced cordially as a new member, as family members are often adopted into the UGoI guild almost entirely upon meeting. This daughter was one Mercy Trueheart, an adopted Half-Drow that had been bitten by a Werewolf and cursed with Lycanthropy. This ability to shift into a Werewolf more or less turned her towards a life of curiosity to the power to shift, a power she makes good on indeed when she learns the techniques of the Master of Many Forms, allowing her access to a sincere number of different racial forms, and different sizes for each of them. It also allowed her to emulate their more natural powers, and it became a great use when she joined the House of Bellmont, where she shot through the ranks.

Mercy was a touchy girl that only got along with some of the UGoI, and not all--especially those close to the circle of Walker Akero. So it was an extraordinarily unprecidented surprise when it was discovered that Renki' Sar Kane and Mercy Trueheart were romantically involved, not just because she was a third-generation dating a first-generation, but the genuine attraction was never suspected between them to begin with. It was believed Renki' was looking towards his old fling Beth Starchild, while still pining for his ultimate loss in history Illyana Kane. However, sometimes life throws a curve ball, and soon they were married together, and she was along with him assisting the Akero boys in their various quests--although none of the three brothers ever considered her a replacement for their mother, who they considered Beth to be.

In 2001, Mercy assisted the UGoI-ESF in the ultimate battle of good and evil against Renki's dual-personality, Gameron Garcross. The long battles ended with Walker and Joesph fusing their mental states and ki to one another, and causing enough of a damage to return Renki' back to normal--or so they thought. Mercy was then assigned to train with her daughter from before her marriage with Renki', joined with Elranda Llelyn, Joshua Kane, Eimin Gutaika, and Jacob the Ninja. As the series of events unfolded, it was learned that Joshua was being hunted down by a rogue Catholic organization from France, intending his experimentation, conversion, or possibly just his destruction. Between constantly having to rediscover Elranda's whereabouts during her disappearances, and the attempts to ressurect Jasson by his minions, their plate got full and their travels lead them to Siberia, Russia.

There, Joshua and her daughter Kyleia went missing. While Ghost attempted to lend a hand, Mercy was mad with rage over the loss of her daughter, and ran into the snowstorm to track her. Soon after, Elranda went chasing after to find her and help her and/or bring her back to her senses (only to disappear a different direction), and Eimin Gutaika was left with the mess of dealing with the angry Russian community that had befallen them. The aftermath of these events were Walker Akero experiencing similar disappearances of all the Kanes on his end as well (Renki', Joesph, Melurite...) under the power of Sarah Garcross, and uncovering the reality that Gameron Garcross was never gone--merely playing them all for fools, and now wanting his kin to join him in his new empire--a life Mercy willingly joined despite it's evil, out of love for Renki'.

At the end of 2006, Mercy made a sudden and very unexpected return to the world of Rhy'Din from her Empire of DeDaMon--and in fleeing her luxurious life. By chance her daughter (also from a marriage before Renki') ran across Walker Akero when fleeing with her and getting supplies from town, she was initially distrustful of the Grendel having heard stories from her step-dad of his trechery... And why not believe them? Walker was a Demon, and Renki' was an Angel. However, as truths began to come into the light, Melody decided it was time Walker met with Mercy (whom was in great injury) to get the aid of him and his UGoI-ESF... A group that, at this point, was more or less dead and gone.

Mercy and Renki' (as Garcross) continued their life together with one another, and ended up having two more children--Illyana Kane (named after Renki's first wife), and Mekhal Kane. Being the kind of man that Garcross became, he was both militant and womanizing, believing a girl's station to be untrained compared to the males. He took interest only in Mekhal, and left Illyana to be trained elsewhere (by Joesph, in the end). Mekhal was taught that only the strong were allowed to survive, that the world was a cruel place, and one should take what they want and never stop to seek ultimate power. Intending to use Mekhal's extraordinary potential as a prodigy like a pawn, this ideal backfired on him when Mekhal believed himself stronger then his father, and wanted his throne. Only the strong survive.

Mekhal made a move to crush all opposition, starting with the males (because they were all trained) and Sarah Garcross (who was a major exception to the DeDaMon rule.) They all perished, with little exception. With his army of zealot champions, Mekhal then turned to those fleeing--the females, Mercy included. Some did not make it to the exit and perished, but some managed escape, and these were Mercy, and her children of Kyleia, Melody, and Illyana--and their respective children. Mekhal promised he would be back for her, although no doubt has come to the conclusion that running to Rhy'Din would mean dealing with the UGoI he had heard so much about. He is in no rush however, enjoying his newfound DeDaMon Empire and will appear when he is ready.

In the meantime, Mercy has apologized, and began the steps to redemption. She had one more daughter, Destiny, with Joesph in a particularly barbaric show of experimentation. It is unknown what the cause of this is, but Destiny, too, lives.

Personality: Evil. Mercy is the most logical and clear-minded of the UGoI girls, and also the most likely to say strange things at the oddest time. Although she is not a coward, she does doubt herself at times, a fault she corrects later in the story. Of all three of her earlier kin, she is the first to outright fall in love with anyone -- in her case, the mysterious Arch Angel Renki'. She made a Faustian deal to acheive her position and now she is the avatar of her evil mentor, ??????. She brooks no disobedience or questioning of her authority and failure to remember that will cost you your life or worse.

Like Garcross, her organization does not tolerate failure either. However, when pleased she can be almost kittenish in her affection and generous in her rewards. She is also unfailingly polite, even to monsters and enemies (She often addresses the creatures they meet and fight as "sir" or "ma'am"). She also shows the merest glimpse of a sensual and sexual personality that the right person could unlock. Remember always that she is queen in her own domain and you had better treat her that way.
