Profile: In the early 90s, Rahan had already come a long way in the world. He was a seemingly-ageless student of the Dark Kingdom, albeit one made of honor and Bushido principles. From his long career as being the foil to future-wife Kyla's plans, Rahan eventually came to the Anime Café and the Anime Gaming community like so many in this guild. There, random happenstance caused Rahan to meet a man fighting with a deviant, and Rahan gave his help where possible. As a result, this man--Walker--tracked Rahan down, and the two began an excellent friendship. A friendship of destiny.

Over the course of their earlier lives, Walker and Rahan lived in Nerima, Japan, going through many misadventures dealing directly with martial artists, cat-girl androids, and eventually space aliens. This propelled their adventures into space, a place both were fairly knowledgeable of to begin with, and their investigations took them to the planet Mars. Through the process, they'd come to learn that not only are they from the past and not supposed to be here, but they're also of the very culture that existed on mars well before it became rust and ruins (see: E.Y.E.S of Mars, Total Recall, etc). They furthermore found that the both of them were actually related, and brothers.

Since then, Walker donned the name Walker Akero, and he'd met a lady named Shai. Through their relationship together, Walker brought those he knew (such as Rahan, Lance, Tux) and Shai brought those she knew (such as Piccollo, Mike, Reba) all together to meet one another, and this resulted in a group of family-like friends dedicated to each other. They made their own home in islands apart from AG, and Rahan himself deemed them the Usual Gang of Idiots, a name brought to them because of their wild martial arts comedy personalities. He even brought his girlfriend at the time Robin to attend and join in such a group, although this relationship didn't last long.

Since then, Rahan remained a constant presence in the lives of the UGoI, acting quite often as the number one source for problem solving due to his kind-hearted attitude, and his ability to apply himself to any situation. Becoming one of the few members of the old UGoI that were truly fighters, Rahan was called upon to assist Lance with Walker and Piccollo when Lance discovered the rising of a corrupt guild presence. This guild believed to be the Orochi. The four of them fought against the most unbeatable odds, and through it earned the attention of the head of ESF, Vent. Although friendships were formed initially with Walker and Piccollo, the friendship between Walker and Rahan with Vent would become legendary.

In 1999, Walker and Shai broke up, and the result on Rahan's brother was devastating. Constantly there as a support, Rahan and Vent helped Walker through the several months of hard times, and when the UGoI crumbled under half the members leaving, Rahan was one of the five (along with Walker, Mike, Tux, and Bean) to see to its reconstruction by merging it with the ESF. During this time, he was also introduced to a girl named Ukyo through introductions of Walker, and fell very in love with her. Unfortunately by the year 2000, she will have cheated on him with a hated enemy, thereby ending their relationship in the end.

By this time, Walker and Rahan had to Rhy'Din--a place Rahan was already quite familiar with. There, Walker and Rahan met Renki' Sar Kane, who became like an adopted father to them, and likewise his son became as their brother. In the process, Joesph became apart of the Clan Akero, and Rahan and Walker became apart of the Clan Kane, with the goal of eventually merging the two clans together as they had their respective guilds. This caused Walker, Rahan, and Joesph to create what is known as the Akero Investigations, a private detective agency bent on helping the helpless against the most notorious of supernatural entities. In 2001, Rahan got together with once-nemesis Kyla, and the two eventually got married. Soon thereafter, Walker and Rahan learned that the Kane family had fallen to the Dark Side.

In 2003, Walker returned from his searching for the Kanes once more to find that his then-girlfriend Abby Kiiro had lost complete interest in him. Having become less and less active himself, Rahan knew his brother would be grieved, and set out to find the lost Kanes himself. During this time, a mysterious anger overcame him. Here, he was under a dark impression that his wife had left him, and indeed he'd gone in a mindless wandering, popping in only sparsely to see what was alive and what wasn't, always edging more into darkness. Kyla found Rahan again after these misadventures, and assured him indeed they were quite together, and this caused Rahan to disappear once more, this time searching for the source of these alien memories and deep, horrible murderous intentions being fed into him.

By 2008, Rahan resurfaced once more during a time when Walker had finally given up hope for the UGoI to return--quite literally, as he came out of the ground from a portal that lead to a Hell dimension. Having found a new set of friends in the few he'd run across, Rahan met them and his wife all over again. During explanations of where he'd been, their reunion was cut off by Walker's long-time standing enemy Rhine, and this caused the UGoI to form once more into a team and take her and her twisted depredations, destroying her and her ilk once and for all. This tremendous reunion not only sparked the return of many more old school who heard the good news, but projected the rebirth of the UGoI.

Personality: Obsessive and driven, although he becomes less so as the series progresses. Still enough to be very difficult to live with, and enough to put most things (although no longer his friends' lives) below his wife in importance. Even if he does fine Kyla, he will remain that way and find another thing to fixate on, so get used to it. Rahan is driven by true love and will come to Kyla's aid regardless of what barriers may separate the two (even death didn't stop him). Very pleasant and carefree, with a love for adventure and experiencing a good sparring match with a strong opponent, but can show a serious side when people he care for are in danger. Rahan is kind and awfully mature for someone his age, even more so than Nick and Walker. And very patient, considering all the girls that attack him daily. However, when he's alarmed or angry, he can get very loud and dangerous. Well, semi-dangerous. Slightly naive when it comes to girls. He's really too kind to be a killer. But he promised never to kill needlessly. But, ya know, the occasional I-have-to-save-them thing that clicks in your brain. So what? Promises were meant to be broken. Determined and loyal, Rahan will put his life on the line for you whenever possible.

Rahan's best friend (and constant companion) is the celestial giant catman, Edgar. They care a lot for each other, and the times where Rahan has been badly hurt, Edgar has been greatly broken up by fact -- angered extensively as well as personally lifeting him up in order to ferry Rahan to the medical facilities. As a side note, Rahan used to be quite vain about his looks, panicking over a lost tooth. He also used to be a rather famous Negaverse Warrior. He also had a hard time dealing with women, turning into a total klutz around any pretty girl. Even after getting over the extremely shy bit, he seemed a bit less than sure of himself around other females. On the other hand, he has married Kyla for some time (it's been a long relationship). Rahan, like all the other UGoI fighters, is a fighter, and a touch reckless. Also arrogant and demanding, and has problems showing any positive emotion. On the other hand, when the chips are down, he will be very loyal. He has certain ideals, and can even prove himself to be kind and sympathetic when he thinks that nobody is looking. Weird thing is that he cleans up real nice and doesn't have a huge ego on his skills or looks; definitely humble on his appearance. However, can show times of depression and closes his feelings toward others and although he does drink at times, his causal drinking doesn't affect his personality and only becomes violent when ruffians are looking for a fight (His moral is to never pick on the weak).

Don't think Rahan is an abusive drinker, he turns to the bottle when depressed or with friends, otherwise when sparring he stays clear from it. Rahan is a true knight, trapped in the body of a thief. He is charming, gentle and chivalrous, always putting himself in harm’s way to protect others. Rahan is a kind-hearted and somewhat chivalrous young man - however, he does have a blunt streak to him which can make him come off as cold and unfeeling sometimes. He models himself as a valiant treasure hunter, yet others look on him as a common thief; a name he hates. Still, he is capable of kindness and generosity, as in with his behvaior around Akane, and has a desire to protect those weaker than he is. Unaware of his situation with his wounds, he is very forgetful and is unable to remember even the simplest of things at times. He is also an honorable man, fighting Walker (initially) left-handed since Walker was fighting him left-handed, leaving Piccollo unconscious and not dead, and so on. However, for those who are dishonorable themselves (such as Renki’), he has far less respect for. Rahan is a loner. He holds himself responsible for what happened to Joesph and for the creation of Garcross, and wants to atone. He is driven to act against the Kanes, particularly against Mekhal and his creations.

Ghost Walker's Comments (Spoilers, misc. details)

Strengths: Rahan has gained quite a bit of skill from his battles with the creatures of Rhy'Din. He has enough speed to avoid most of their attacks, and enough strength to beat them into submission. In the one set of blows that he exchanged with Joesph, he received only a small scratch, while being able to give a wound of the same size to Joesph.

Weaknesses: He has a tendency to forget important things, which might hurt him in battle. If he forgets that he's fighting altogether, it would leave him wide open for attack. One other thing that might give him a disadvantage is the fact that his fighting style is used primarily to defeat martial artists... not large Demons. Because of this, he might not be well equipped to deal with moves he's never encountered before.
