Profile: In the year 2000, Walker AKero came across one Zelgato Darkwulfe, and the two shared similar paths and similar enemies, so the two became allies. Through working with him, Walker discovered that the man had a sense of honor (however twisted it may be) and saw the chance to bring about great good in him, perhaps because he was the spitting image of the then-deceased Renki' Sar Kane. This, however, turned out to be a shakey and slow process of bringing out that good in question, namely Zelgato had many personal demons that he constantly felt the desire to revisit, considering his long and fel association with the evil guild of D.o.G. Although not ever involved directly with them, his family had been, and so he kept their badge as a sign of his respect for them. A sign Walker could never understand.
Although he had many butting heads with the likes of people like Edgar Bellmont and the returned Renki' Sar Kane, Walker insisted his honor and goodness was intact, and Zelgato began to believe in these things to. There were several misadventures dealing with Zelgato's temper towards the disrespectful, but in the end he was loyal to Walker, and served as one of the two greatest advisors the guild had ever seen at that time, rivaled only in that respect to Renki' Sar Kane. He had a great knowledge of things, but seemingly from the opposite perspective of the Arch Angel he was paired with, and it caused for an intellectual contrast that allowed for excellent decision making.
By 2003, however, like many of the other UGoI, he faded into the background. His demons long since returned, Zelgato's deviation from the light path he traveled with Walker became apparent and he began to wane. Walker wasn't in any state to do much about this though, due to the loss of his then-girlfriend Abby, and so aside from the occasional reuniting (and pipe-smoking) with his old friend, the two saw little of each other until roughly the end of 2004, when all conversation was halted during Abby's claim that Zelgato had started flirting with her pretty heavy and disrespectfully. Since Walker was yet to actually get over the girl, much less did he think that was a cool thing to do in any right, Walker ceased all ties entirely until he'd had a chance to sit down with him. To this day, that hasn't happened, as rumors amassed that he'd returned to evil after the rejection, and to a path of great honorlessness.
Personality: Zelgato, though he claims to be the consummate martial artist, is the most immoral, perverted old man on the planet. He is continuously trying to touch girls or get close to them, especially Abby and Walker (when in female form, that is). He is a notorious panty and bra thief and has stacks of them in his room at the Tendo dojo. At times, likes to pass the blame onto others to cover up his own actions. Not known to be someone who gets angry very easily unless one tries to stand in his way or foil one of his plans. Zelgato is mean-spirited, obnoxious and attention seeking. He loves to push people around just to get a reaction out of them.
Zelgato is infuriated by Renki's apparent success, and does his best to interfere with the other person's life. His loss to the Arch Angel has made him cold and bitter, and a rematch is just about all he thinks about. In addition, Zelgato is merciless. He has some small measure of honor, but doesn't allow that to interfere with his desire to crush any and all opponents. Since Zelgato receives so little "screen time," there is not much one can say about him. On the other hand, his actions are pretty straight forward and easy to define. As with all D.o.G., Zelgato is arrogant, overconfident, and violent. He will kill without a second thought and revels in destruction. He looks to be very loyal to Walker... pity the favor isn't returned. Very lecherus, Hentai. Will glomp on any female he sees.
Walker's Comments (Spoilers, misc. details)
Strengths: Zelgato is the his own school of martial art's founder, so he knows the techniques and philosophy better than anyone. Putting aside his perverse nature, Zelgato is a very formidable martial artist. He has years of experience behind him in terms of martial arts skill, and at his best could outfight Joesph, King, and Walker all at the same time. Zelgato always has a new surprise up his sleeve. His unpredictability is one of his greatest strengths, as many opponents are not able to discern what is coming next from him. His versatility justifies this uncertainty. Zelgato is one of the most powerful martial artists on the planet. Because of his advanced age, he has access to knowledge of almost every martial arts style in the world, which means that almost nothing will surprise him or catch him off guard. Even though he's old, however, he is by no means physically weak. He is strong enough to throw people many times his size very far, and he has also shown that he can take quite a beating and continue fighting. In addition, he is also very large and very quick, which makes it impossible for most people to even hit him. Finally, like other fighters of the UGoI-ESF, he is able to overcome and adapt to situations that present themselves in battle. Zelgato's greatest strength is his skill, which has been built up from years of training. His devotion to his art is close to that of Walker. Zelgato also has a huge advantage in his reach. His long legs, long arms and ranged attacks make him a very difficult target. Zelgato also has a speed people don't expect.
Weaknesses: Zelgato has only one real weakness, but that weakness is a very significant one. In addition to being one of the greatest martial artists on earth, he is also one of the greatest perverts. Two words: beautiful girls. Zelgato gets _very_easily distracted from a fight if there are girls around that he can harass. In the middle of a fight, even the sight of young, beautiful women walking by can completely distract him, making him forget that he's fighting altogether. Bras and panties are also very distracting to him, and if an enemy knows about his weaknesses, they can be easily expoited. Walker has taken advantage of this plenty of times - a brassiere here, a pair of panties there - these all can distract Zelgato from fighting. Zelgato seems completely incapable of resisting his weakness, even when he knows his enemy is using it against him. A weakness that stems from this is that if he doesn't associate with anything female for a while, he starts to get weak, like an addict in withdrawal of the thing he/she is addicted to. Also, his extraordinary size, while not a problem most of the time, can give him a disadvantage in combat in certain situations. Also, since Zelgato is a great fighter, and he knows it, he will often refuse to take fights seriously at first. Zelgato's weaknesses stem from the corruption in his soul. He has become the right hand man for evil in the forces of darkness and he has carried out numerous unspeakable missions. Zelgato is also a rather big target and though he is good at keeping people away with his reach, once they get in close, his size becomes a vulnerability. Zelgato is certanly arrogant and he has a hatred for UGoI over all others. |
