Man Power               Temp Job Resources

Some temp agencies (Man Power) offer free training via the Internet & at nearby training facilities in Microsoft Office and other computer software.  This will enable you to sharpen your computer skills which the temp agency will  test for job placement. The better your skills, most likely the better the pay.

Glendale Community College offers online training courses via the Internet for $49 per course.

Analyze Skills & Choose a Career    

Check the Yahoo Career Center for assistance in job hunting, career planning, resume writing, etc. Very thorough resource.

The Women At Work  organization offers career counseling and classes in things such as resume writing, salary negotiations, job searching, job interviews, and computer training. Their fees are very low, and if you qualify for their Women in Transition program, all of their services are free! Any nun just leaving the ashram would qualify for this. Someone has already attended a series of Career Planning workshops which they found extremely valuable. Contact information:
