Original body colours for the early cars seem to have been, British Racing Green, Burnt Sand, Carnival Red,  Cirrus White, with both  Bahama and Lotus Yellow.  Metallic paints and the two tone paint schemes were introduced as the range moved up market.

I suspect that a considerable number of cars have since been re-sprayed and that Lotus probably used whatever paint was available at times.
