Ever since having the idea of doing i jazz course at the con i started listening to jazz. From then, it kinda grew on me and today i like it so much i decided to put a bit of it on my page.
Well a band which i've come across via a surfing video which can kinda be classified as jazz, is The Greyboy Allstars. I was tossing up between putting them in the funk page or this page, but i think jazz is more suiting. They've got 3 albums out which are all different, yet really well put together. The albums are packed with improvisations, which is one of the reasons why i class the gba as jazz. The head honcho for the band is called Karl Denson who used to play sax for a guy by the name of Lenny Kravitz. The title of their first album sums up their music. "West Coast Boogaloo."
