Well as i was a bit of a younger kid i used to do a lot of surfing. Reading through a magazine packed full of my heroes, i read an interview with a pro sufer by the name of Shane Powell. In this interview Shane said that he listens to music to get amped for a surf. He then went on to say that the faster the music is that you listen to, the faster your mind will be ticking and the faster you'll end up surfing. Hoping to mprove my surfing i took his advice and came across punk music. That was the start of a beautiful relationship. hehe. Here's some of my favourite punksters.

BODYJAR
These aussies rip! If it's possible to have almost technical punk, these guys do it, and well. Forgetting your average 3 major chord song, these guys put on a proffesional show. Fast, technical, but together, these guys are my favourite punk band.

HASTE
This is the band my brother is in. They formed in early '99 and are doing really well. They just recorded an EP which is real punk, except for the redneck song which is a crack up! They're signed to the same label as The Jive Express which is Scope Records.

Well a bunch of immature Americans who i really liked a few years ago are Blink 182. Check em if you can be bothered.
