North India

North India is the only single part of whole India which is very rich and healthy in terms of tourist attractions. This part of India is enriched with different cultures, religions, marvelous monuments, immense wildlife parks and sanctuaries, holy rivers, majestic Himalayas, and diversified climate conditions. North India touches the borders of Pakistan, China, Nepal and Bhutan. One can take pleasure and make his trip memorable while wandering in the breathtaking Himalaya Mountain in the states of Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir, the agriculturally rich plains of Punjab,

North India is the most important part of India in terms of history, culture, rivers and mountain regions. The origin of two main and sacred rivers Ganga and Yamuna is North India. This is the place where mighty Himalayas is expended from Himachal Pradesh to Arunachal Pradesh. Capital of India, Delhi is also situated in this northern region. Delhi is the place which is famous for its history and historical monuments built by Mughal emperors like Qutab Minar, Jama Mosque, Humayun's Tomb, Red Fort etc. There is one more state in North India which is also famous for its historical forts and monuments, Rajasthan. This state is one of the most colourful and vibrant state of North India. Rajasthan also contains most of the part of Thar desert, famous for its camel safaris. There is one more state in North India, Uttar Pradesh which is not only famous in India but also in all over the world for its seventh wonder of the world, "The Taj Mahal". Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu Kashmir in North India are famous for their beautiful lakes, waterfalls, rivers, mountains and hill stations.


North India has most extensive and fertile lands in all over the India. There are lots of rivers found in North India region like Ganga, Yamuna, Indus, Brahmaputra etc. North India is the region where the earliest civilizations of earth, the Harappan or Indus Civilization originated. In this region one can find some of the greatest religions on earth like Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism and Sikhism. Most of the famous pilgrimage destinations like Haridwar, Rishikesh, Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Hemkund Saheb, and Amarnath are found in North India.
