Trade Within The Island

For the island to survive it must work together in order to allow the entire island to survive:

· Amon Gwareth region is mainly in the Mt Juve area so most of its resources are from mining. Even in the ancient times the area had advanced ways of mining. This was because of the amount of time the island put into developing these new ways of mining and also because people have been doing this for over thousands of years. Now with the help of technology the island is one of the main areas in the world for stone, marble and diamond. Also other minerals such as different types of stone ore and clay are used throughout the island. In ancient times these resources were used to make the famous buildings throughout Triquatra. But there was a problem in which in was hard to get the big blocks of stone down the steep narrow paths of Mt Juve and also took quite a while. To solve this the scholars devised a plan in which they would use the river system to send down the stone. To do this the scholars also had to invent a new type of boat in which it was very stable and was made to carry heavy loads. These boats were then also used for fishing in the bay of Azurri.

· The Shaeffera region is the lower region of the island where all the rivers end up and eventually go out to sea through the Faber Delta. It is because of this delta and the very large Verus River that this region is able to have very fertile land excellent for agriculture. This region supplies the rest of the island basically with food. They farm animals including: oxen, horses, sheep, chickens and also pigs. This area is also used for the growing of crops such as, citrus fruits, sugarcane, figs, peaches, wine, grapes, onions, bananas, potatoes, grain and tomatoes.

· The Dorthonian region is made up mainly of forests. This region is known for its flora and fauna, which has been modified with thousands of year of care by the Dorthonian people. It also is where most materials are changed into objects such as statues and pottery. The materials are sent via the Resse River from Dor Athro such as marble, stone and clay in which the Dorthonian people have workshops where they create the needed things for the island. It also is the source for most of the islands timbers and is known for their wooden carvings. They also use the river system to get their resources around the island but they must use the roads to get to the Amon Gwareth region.

Trade Throughout The World

When Triquatra first came in contact with other countries throughout the world it started to become known for its vast amounts of minerals and materials and highly respected in the trade industry. It began trade with countries like Portugal, Spain, England and many throughout Europe. Many of the other countries become very interested mainly in the resources like diamond, marble, ore and oil. Triquatra made most of its money from exporting these items. Triquatra could also import many items because of its great trade wealth. It mainly imported many luxury items such as technological advances and fashionable clothing.
