POEM 01:
TO THEODOMIRO CRUZ' MEMORY | |||
Great soul that you went wrapped up in the fulgor Of everything that was beautiful and fair, noble and saint. Of the life in the illusion you were the eternal song Of the good and of the kindness and the peace of the pure love. |
You also were a poet, a sweet minstrel, And had your lyre in soft and sweet enchantment; You loved the poetry wrapped up in your mantle Of light and of hope in the very resplendence. |
Sweet peregrine soul, the earth where you passed Will never forget your loyalty, The good you did and you never gloried! |
Kind and pure friend, beyond in the eternity Rest forever while the ones that you left Sincere they will keep the cult of the longing. |
