Driving Directions:

From Marin County and points north:
Take the Marin/Sausalito exit. Drive through eight stoplights. At the ninth stoplight, turn right onto Princess Street. Drive up Princess Street, going up the hill. It eventually turns into Bulkley Avenue. You will see the Alta Mira Hotel on the left side of the road.

From San Francisco:
Take 101 North across the Golden Gate Bridge. Take the Alexander Avenue Exit, directly after the vista point. Drive two miles to the first stoplight and turn left onto Princess Street. Drive up Princess Street, going up the hill. It eventually turns into Bulkley Avenue. You will see the Alta Mira Hotel on the left side of the road.

Please remember to allow enough time for traffic, as it frequently takes time to cross the Golden Gate Bridge during the weekend.

Parking:
Complimentary valet parking will be provided to all guests.

The ceremony will take place at 3:00 pm in the Alta Mira gardens. Friends and family of the bride will be seated on the left side of the arch, facing the bay, while friends and family of the groom will be seated on the right.  The ceremony will last approximately 20-30 minutes.

Ceremony Music:
The music for the ceremony will be provided by a string trio.

• Processional: Ode to Joy by Beethoven
  
• Bride's procession: Canon in D by Pachelbel
  
• Recesionnal: Wedding March by Mendelssohn
  

After the ceremony and cocktail hour, the reception will take place at the Alta Mira Main Dining Room.  Placecards with your name, table, and dinner preference will be found at the entrance of the room.

Dinner:
The dinner will begin with a toast from the best man, maid of honor, and matron of honor. All entrees include soup, sourdough rolls and butter, rice pilaf, and fresh seasonal vegetables.

The menu features the following entree choices:

1. Grilled Medallions of Prime Beef: Two petite filet mignon served with bearnaise and bordelaise sauces.
   
2. Herb-Crusted Roasted Rack of Spring Lamb: Slowly Roasted to perfection and served with a fresh rosemary and fresh garlic au jus.
   
3. Salmon Reimoise: Poached Norweigian Salmon Filet with a champagne sauce and topped with pink peppercorns.
   
4. Tortellini Jardiniere* : Cheese-filled tortellini in a lemon-herb cream sauce with broccoli spears, mixed peppers, and mushrooms.
   
   

Cake:
The wedding cake will be provided by Just Desserts, and will be part chocolate (have you ever had their "Mocha Cream Cake"?) and part carrot (mostly for Uly, who hates chocolate!) with cream cheese frosting

The Party:
After dinner, Arlene and Ulysses will lead the first dance. Music will be provided by a DJ, who will play some of Arlene and Ulysses's favorites, as well as some great dance music (new and old). We will take brief breaks in between sets for the cake-cutting, bouquet and garter throw.
