is a highly respected monk who was born in East Tibet but left in
1980 to study in South India at the Sarege monastery under Geshe

year's study at the Tantrik University before being urged by His
Holiness the Dalai Llama to return to Tibet to help with the monasteries.
Unfortunately it was too difficult for him to remain there more
than a year and a half. Again he returned to India and from there
travelled out to Australia in 1998. Since then he has been resident
at the Geelong Drol Kar Buddhist Centre.
