As mentioned on the main page, "Untitled" was originally created to archive my favorite fanfiction pieces.

Please understand that the "rules" stated here (specifically 1 and 2) are more guidelines than anything else. ^^;;

Guidelines:

  1. I prefer to have fanfiction archived, but I won't throw a fit if an author prefers not to have that happen. ^^;; Being allowed to archive stuff just gives me warm and fluffy feelings, is all.
  2. Assuming that I have been given permission to archive something, I will make edits to the story before it's posted. Please be aware that this isn't to the content itself; it's just changing scene breaks, as well as breaks to distinguish from notes and titles to the story itself. I will contact each author and ask them if they mind those changes, and if they don't like it, the story will be left entirely alone. This is, again, another preference of mine, so that all the fics have similar formatting and look more consistent together in this site. If (for example) a whole conversation is shown with asterisks (*) to show, say, a past conversation, I'll probably end up changing those anyway, but again, the author will be asked and I won't do so if they don't wish it.
  3. Untitled is a closed archive. The only way in is if I read something of yours and really like it or if somebody else recommends something to me and I really like that. ^^ I'm very much open to recommendations.
  4. IMPORTANT: If you wish to repost anything, or have edits, I'd be more than happy to recode + repost it for you. ^^

And if anybody is really curious, what I look for in a story:

  1. Characterization is a key point. In a serious fic, if characters are blatantly out of character without a good reason, no go. I give leeway for AUs and humor fics - more for the former.
  2. A good plot: anidea, a conversation, something, as long as it's interesting. ^^;; Some authors start out wonderfully... and then churn out pointless chapters that drag on the story unnecessarily.
  3. Use of English language: must have good grammar and spelling. I'm not throwing a hissy fit at one or two mistakes, though, obviously. ^^
