Here are the local shops you can buy and sell used bikes. Also check the pawn shops time to time you can get a good deal.
Buy and Sell
Dave's Bike Dump:
Dave's is one of the largest used bike shops in town. You can find a large variety of bikes and parts here. Also a place to check out when you're trying to sell your bike.
Bert's Bike Repair:
Burt's deals mainly in the same market as Dave's except on a slightly smaller scale. Check this place out also when you're looking for a used bike.
Tim's Used Sports Equipment:
Tim's deals with all sorts of sporting equipment. They do have some used bikes selection isn't great but if you're in the hood check it out might find a good buy.
Buy
Rent-A-Bike:
Rent-A-Bike usually sells the Giants they rent out during the year for half price at the end of the season. Check them out around October and November.
Cyco's:
Cyco's also sells the Norcos they rent out during the year at the end of the season.
Recycles Bike Coop:
Because of their donation only policy bikes generally go pretty cheap. If you're looking for a cheap commuter check out the as is bikes they generally go cheaper than overhauled bikes. Recycles has a large stock of parts you can use to fix up your own bike. You can find pretty good deals here the only downside because stock is dependent on donations supply doesn't often meet demand.
Gladstone Ave & Lebreton St.
Just found out about this place. We'll put more up about it when we go check it out. But apparently there's an old couple here that sells bikes really cheap. Check it out supposedly the cheapest place in the city to get used bikes.
