The Dead Horse Loop trail is the original NORBA trail of Red Rock Canyon. The trail starts with a big climb along Highway 160 and eventually winds its way south through the foothills of the Toiyabe National Forest. The furthest point of this ride is Wilson Tank overlook where you can see Las Vegas 25 Miles away. The best part of the ride is the final 3-miles down Red Valley. The locals call it the "three-mile-smile." <note from editor: not all Las Vegans are this corny>
