The Week In Review

 Entire roof removed and stacked into 2 dumpsters.  Knocked down the brick peaks to level the roofline.

 Electricians dropped and rewired all the ceiling fixtures on the existing main level.  

 Had to place the wiring through the attic joists instead of over them.

                                 Roof cut into dumpster-size sections and crane-lifted away

                                 With the entire roof removed

 New Bedroom level added up.  

 Placed scissor joists between each of the existing attic joists and built a new floor.

 Amazing how quickly (1 hour) the new outside wall sections were put up -- all pre-fab'd with windows framed.

 Electricians came back to fix problems and to re-hang most of the ceiling fixtures.

                                 Bricks removed to level it off and scissor joists added

                                 New outside wall sections going up all around

 Bedroom level walls framed and new Attic level added up.

                                 Added wall sections on new level

                                 Lifting the roof trusses

                                 Covering the attic roof

 Windows added and Breakfast room framed and roofed.

 Tar paper added to new roof in anticipation of major snow storm -- which passed us by.
