Located across an inlet of water from Darling Harbour, the aquarium was huge and had lots of interesting features.  The most interesting exhibits were the ones in which you entered via a transparent 7' diameter tube (with a walkway).  There were four of these, each depicting a different local region habitat. 

The aquarium had a great exhibit for watching platypus: 15 foot wide, with lots of swimming space.  For a sense of scale, this adult is probably about 18 inches from the tip of his bill to the end of his tail.

Um...fish.  I took quite a few pictures, but very few turned out reasonably well. I'm not sure about the identity of these fish, but the photo is pretty good...
