Chinese Gardens in the Darling Harbour area of Sydney

The boat house may not have been much to look at on the inside (although it did have a game board for Go and Chess), but it looked very scenic from further down the path. For some reason the photo that I took was at a wacky angle. I tried to correct that here, but you can see where the edges of the photo are at the bottom and right-hand edges.

 


Not so far from the entrance we came across a small building which contained a costume shop. When we first came upon it, it was closed--but there were sample photographs. It interested us enough that we went back before we left the gardens. I got to wear the yellow & dragon of the emperor. Gale got a bit more variety. Being the emperor seemed to make me more serious than I think was truly called for.

But I think the beard picture actually asked for it...
