Any student seeking financial aid must contact the Financial Aid department to set up an appointment to apply for financial aid and to complete a student aid report.

Financial Aid Rules and Regulation

1.   Student must schedule appointments with the Financial Aid department to review or
      discuss financial aid matters.

2.   Hours will be checked automatically monthly for errors or corrections. There will be no

      exceptions.

3.   Student's time cards must be punched in and out daily.

Overtime Charge

Overtime charge is $3.00 per hour for all courses. If the student has not completed attendance requirements by the ending date, as described above, an additional charge will be incurred until the hours are completed.

 

Refund Policy

1. Details for the institution's own definite and established refund policy for cancellations and

    terminations must, at a minimum, comply with the following:

          a.  An applicant not accepted by the school shall be entitled to a refund of all monies

               paid.
          b.  If a student or his/her parents or guardian cancels her/his enrollment and demands 

               a refund, in writing within three business days after signing an enrollment agreement

               and making an initial payment, all monies collected shall be refunded. The

               cancellation date will be determined by the postmark on written notification,

               or the date said information is delivered to the school administrator/owner in person.

               This policy applies regardless of whether or not the student has actually started

               training.

          c.  After three business days and prior to entering classes, all monies shall be refunded

               minus a registration fee of $100.00.

2. In case of student illness or disabling accident, death in the immediate family, or other

    circumstances beyond the control of the student, the school will make a settlement which

    is reasonable and fair to both.

3. For students who enroll in and begin classes, the following schedule of tuition fee is

    authorized. If additional instruction is required it will be provided at a cost of $3.00 per hour.

4.  Enrollment time is defined as the time elapsed between the actual starting date and the

     date of the student's last day of physical attendance in the school. Any monies that the

     applicant or student shall be refunded within 30 days of formal cancellation, as defined in

     item 1 section b,  or formal termination by the school  which shall occur in no more

     than 30 days from the last day of physical attendance, or in the case of a leave of absence,

     the documented date of return.

5.  All extra costs, such as books, equipment, graduation fees, which are not included in the

     tuition price are stated in the catalog and contract and are not refundable after 3 business

     days.

6.  If the school is permanently closed and no longer offering instruction after a student has

     enrolled, the student shall be entitled to a pro-rata refund of tuition. 

7.  If a course is cancelled subsequent to a student's enrollment, the school shall at its

     options:
         a.  Provide a full refund of all monies paid; or

         b.  Provide completion of the course.

 

Transfer or Dropped Student Policy

The State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering may grant credit hours for transfer or dropped students. The school will contact the board for any previous credit hours. Tuition fee will be charged on the remaining hours to be completed.
