4.16.2001 (Mon) Shady So, we left Lefeber Bulb Farm after a 40-minute visit. Then, we went to Blau Oyster, and tried the fresh and smoked oysters. It was yum yum yum!!!!. We were lining up there and were waiting for the man to open the oysters for us. When it is my dad's turns, the man asked him "would you like a big one?" "Of course." So my dad got a very very big one in an uproar. Everybody envied him. (I will put the picture up later on.) After that, we went to Laconner, a small old town. We ate an Indian meal, but WE (4 of us and the other people) didn't really appreciate the meal. I would prefer eating hot dog on the street...hmm.. maybe next time. I like this town, this tiny-and-everything-is-closely-packed town. There are shops on the two sides of the Morris road as well as restaurants, galleries, museums... and oh yes... Pop Korns- pop corn on the street..... :) and wink. I also saw a 3-wheel motorcycle Then, we went to another tulip farm, Roozengaarde. Well... not actually a tulip farm.. we were created!!! The farm has more daffodils than tulips. Anyway, daffodils are good too. My loving mom bought 5 bunches of tulips. And me :) I bought 3 postcards.. :) hohoho... The last and the most important part (Charlie said) of the trip was shopping in Prime Outlets. After shopping in a crowd kitchen untensil shop, I exhaustively crawled back to the bus. Well... I wasn't really crawled back to the bus.. but almost... I was very exhausted. I slept all the way from Skagit Valley to Vancouver. When I woke up, the bus almost arrived my home. 4.17.2001 (Tue) Rainy and windy If I am going to stay at VCC and study one more term, I think I will die. No kidding. It's not about how much homework I have, or how difficult the class is. I just simply don't have the time to eat my lunch. Today is different. I incredibly had enough time to finish my "whole" sandwich, talked with Ivy, and read magazine. I have never finished my sandwich during my lunch hour. We have half an hour for lunch ( from 12:00-12:30). And usually the teacher won't let go until 12:10, and she will be back at 12:25.. :P ... Sometimes, when I just begin to bite my sandwich, she enters the classroom and starts the class. (*notice that is bite, not even eat yet.) And so, I skip my lunch sometimes, or wait until 14:00 when all the classes are finished. Anyway, I have only one more week to finish the chemistry class... YEAH! So tonight, the dishwasher was fully filled with dirty, oily dishes. I couldn't even put a pin into it. It's so interesting to try to fit all the dishes into the dishwasher. I love to do it... :) Even though I had already put lots of dishes into the machine, I still hand washed some pots and bowls. I wonder why we have so many dirty dishes every night. We have only 4 people eating dinner every night, but you will never believe how many dishes and bowls we use. hmm.. I think .. it's all my faults. I used too many dishes and bowls to prepare the dinner. It's my bad habit. I like to put food into a bowl before I cook it. E.g. I put chopped garlic into a small bowl, and chopped shallot into another one. Then mince pork, peas, tofu, grated carrot..... I put each of them into a seperate glass bowl. It was like a cooking TV program... I don't know it is a good habit or bad habit. The kitchen looks more organized if I keep doing this way. However, I will have to do lots of dishes every night, waste water and cleaning detergent. Sigh...... lol .... I will keep doing this anyway... why sigh?? sor por ...
