It's also my dad's B'day. I've got tons of things to do today.. busy but happy. I had class this morning till 3:00 then I went to the post office and sent this urgent mail to my friend in China. He lives in Canada most of the time, but he is now working in China. So I am responsible to check his mail box every 2 days and send him some of his letters (eg. Taxes package, MSP letter, ICBC .....etc) After that I went to Chinatown to buy the food I will need the next day, and then I went to Staple to buy two folders for my Chemistry hmwk. aiyo .... >.< .....tired.. I got home at round 5:00 then my parents and I went to Richmond ( an hour from my home) to meet my brother and had dinner at " THE KEG" together. 2.7.2001 (Wed) This is the worst thing to live in downtown. I had to wake up early today for the tour to Whistler; however, I couldn't fall asleep until 2:00am. I don't know why the guys living downstair always scream at the balcony. They scream for snow, for sunset, for cold wealther, sometimes for nothing...just scream. I wanna throw my slippers to them and make them shut up.. lol ... that's what Chinese usually did in old HK. Throw alarm clock or slippers towards the noisy people late at night. aiya... I slept only 4 hours........ Sleepy 2.8.2001 (Thur) I think I don't need to eat anymore. Let me tell you a story then you will know why. It was snowing this morning while I was on my way school. I didn't eat breakfast before school since I decided to eat brunch instead. Anyway, I had a lab this morning..you know I have to clean up all the equipment before I leave the laboratory.. or otherwise the teacher won't let go. I spent my lunch hour (1/2 hour) to clean the table, wash the bottles, dry them, and put them back to the shelf... arr.... My friend bought me a book and I picked it up from our shared locker. HEY HEY HEY .. the main point is here.....I got a gift for Valentine's day. lol ......My friend, Stephanie put the candies and the book together into a plastic bag...and the candies were my brunch. I didn't eat anything but the candies till dinner. Amazingly, I didn't really feel hungry, and I didn't eat much for dinner......A chinese saying "·Ò¥P". lol..... it means "to become an immortal person without eating. " 2.9.2001 (Fri) I watched a movie, Wedding Planner, with my parents at home this evening. The movie is still available in cinemas, but I borrowed this ILLEGAL copy video cd's from my friend. Don't call the police..please.... :p ...anyway the movie was about a lady who works as a wedding planner. Before watching this movie, I really didn't know a lot of things (some of them I don't even think of ) have to be planned before marry. Now, I know why Mieko didn't want a wedding party. Talking about planners, I have a friend who works as a city planner, and myself, I worked as a party planner before.( if you consider that is one of my previous jobs) It's not an easy job, I must say. I can never be a good planner. After planning the grad party, I surrender!! I swore I will never be a (whatever) planner again. I usually have so many plans or ideas at the same time, and I am not a resolute person..and you know what... I screwed the whole thing up....phew... A stiff and inflexible job will be absolutely suitable for me eg.. office work...But I worked as an office lady before, and I was fed up with paper work.. :p ......... lol ...oh well..what am I talking about?? .I am getting crazy on choosing my career. For sure, I like cooking, I like food, I like making new combinations. Like putting Chocolate or lychee in Curry. (the idea is a bit crazy, but the curry tastes good). But the question is should I be a chef ? If you asked me this question few years ago, I would say "YES" out loud in 1/100000 second. But as I am getting older and older, I'm not so sure now. I dunno...I don't mean to make myself walk into a death-end street. But as time goes by, I really need to make the decision. 2.10.2001 (Sat) This evening, after I bathe, I looked at myself in the mirror. I saw a mole on my face...it is actually on the corner of my mouth. It's not very visible, but it looks so cute. I also have a mole on my little finger of my right hand and a big one on my right shoulder. lol .... Sorry, this is not a biology lesson. Anyway, my friend phoned me this evening. We talked about kisses..(not only kisses,but also sth else).. Well ...He told me he just kissed his new g/f ...lol ...It's almost Valentine's day I guess... or otherwise I am sure his g/f won't let him kiss. My friend also told me that it's so romantic to kiss her forehead. Sometimes I think is it because the woman is too short and the man feels tired while kissing her lips. So he kisses her forehead instead... lol ... ( I am not talking about my friends, his g/f is a tall lady.) That's why women wear high-heeled shoes..... and stand with their toes...... to kiss......her boyfriend's ..........chin ..... lol. 2.11.2001 (Sun) I don't like my Comm005 classmates. Maybe I can use another word instead of " don't like". But .... that's what exactly I feel.... I have studied English at BCIT for 6 months. In Sep 2000, I took my first course, comm003, at BCIT. I love my comm003 classmates. They are amiable, active, talkative, and hardworking. We are very very close to each other. Esp the time when Mary, Joyce, and Miranda taught me Mandarin, and Keiko taught me Japanese. Then , How about comm004 class? Well my comm004 classmates were good since half of the comm004 classmates were from comm003 . Some new classmates like Armin, Jose, Spedieh, Bola are friendly and kind. BUT BUT BUT ..My comm005 classmates are ............ sigh ... Our relationship is as cold as a freezer. Javad is the only classmate i have from comm004 class. He and I always wanted to talk with other classmates. But they seem not interested. It's like a " take care now , bye bye then " relationship.
