OK...not long ago..I said 99.9% of women are greedy......and now I have Theory 2: 99.999% of Men are crazy, violent. This thing suddenly came into my mind when I was on my way home from school today. Men beat women when they are really angry or mad!!!!!! Don't look at me like this.... ( the 0.001% is endangered species.) Some of my friends, their b/fs' or husbands' slap them when he is very very angry... some are even beat my friends with their big, hard fists. It's so terrible and unbelievable.

Though, I know some of my male friends won't do this ( I mean they won't beat a woman even they are very angry with her, at least I know they won't beat me, should I celebrate?) E.g. Jerry, He will never beat me, for no reason, I know he won't do this to me. Strangely enough, I have ( can't say lots of, but some) male friends,  but he is the only male friend I trust. It's not like a 1-day relationship, it's a long term. Don't misunderstand, we are not b/f and g/f...He is not my cup of tea......hehee....We killed a lot of time at the bubble tea cafe, we talked secrets.. we shared the funny and silly things of our childhood, he told me how he broke up with his X. I told him why I chose cook as my career, He never push me to speak, when I am tired and don't want to speak, he will do all the talkings....When I have something that I don't want to tell him, he knows, then he will change the subject....He is the best. I know he will never cheat me, he will never beat me, and he will always be my friend.

OK, go back to "Men beat Women", I saw a man beat a woman on the street today.  aiya.....it must be painful..... the man's arm is even bigger than my thigh. How can I help the woman?? But , finally another guy shouted at the man and stopped the fight.

Think about this, Men!! Be a gentleman!

You pay? I pay? ( hey.. not your place? my place?) A late night thought from yesterday. Can I ask you a question? If you are a man, and when you go out for dinner with a lady, will you pay for her? or you pay yours, and she pays for hers?   and, if you are a woman, same thing... will you pay for him? or ask him to pay for you?

Well, in some cases, men are generous. I remember whenever I eat out with my co-workers, we pay separately, maybe they treat me as a boy, not a girl. A friend told me that "Men pay for the meals" is the benefit for being a woman. well, I don't know. When I went out with Jerry, we paid separately. Sometimes we argue on you pay? or I pay?  He told me that it is very important for a man to pay for a woman when they both go out for dinner. Because people will look at the man ( and it makes the man feel uncomfortable) if the woman pay. does it bother a man?  I can tell you that it doesn't bother me a lot... who cares. But anyway, sometimes I let him pay..... you know it's not about the money.. it's about a man's dignity.

When I hang out with my girlfriends... we pay separately too. Except Carol... maybe she thinks that I am a student, and she is working now, so, she has the "responsibility" to pay for me..That's what she thinks and  THAT"S AN ABSOLUTELY silly thinking.. even I KNOW SHE TREAT ME WELL. She is just 2 1/2 months  older than me. It hurts my feeling..... We studied at the same high school, we worked together in Mc.donald's. Then she study in "Social University" (working) till now... and I study at college then work.. then study again ...   Carol has the most working experience among us. She is a perfect woman.. I must say... If I were a boy, I would pursue her!!!

OK ...I always jump so far away from my original subject.........I believe that everything has to be done with a reason.  So...don't buy me a meal unless you have a good reason  ... :p ..... BUT buy me a coffee is fine.. :)

Tonight, I opened the balcony door, sat near the balcony, and enjoyed the night view. It's a bit cold, esp when the wind blew toward me. I haven't done this for age. Last time was on November, last year....I supposed .. I stood at the balcony and smoked.. Yes..whenever I stand at the balcony, I smoke. So it's a good sign that I haven't stood at the balcony for a few months.

Let me charify something, smoking is not my habit. The only two cases cause me to smoke are (1) When I feel like no energy. (2) When I feel sad.

For me, I don't mind my friends smoke ..as long as they don't smoke in front of my mom. (She doesn't like people smoke, and she can't stand with the smoke.) Well, It's a kind of personal habits. You can't stop anyone to do anything, but you can give them advices. Smoking is very dangerous, it can cause lung cancer and other diseases. Well, I supposed nobody wants to have cancer, and nobody wants to be a 2nd-hand smoker. So you better think about it before you smoke. Smoking alone at the balcony, or lock youeself in the restroom so that no one will have the 2nd-hand smoke.

My friend's cousin, Jason, came to Vancouver to have a 10-day trip. My friend told me and asked me to "take care of" her cousin. Unfortunately, He didn't give me the chance to show him around  until today. Jason is ..hmm....stiff?  shy ..perhaps.... I didn't see him before... so we used the most simple way to identify each other. I told him what I will wear, and he told me what he looks like....etc.

We went to Steveston Village and had lunch there... hehee.. we had Fish&Chips, then we ate ice-cream which you shouldn't miss when you come to Steveston Village. I tasted some of his Coconut almond....   :p    but I prefer my Mocha... lol.  MY FAVOURITE!!!!

After that , we went to Science World. This is the first time I go to Science World. They have a special exhibition today. It was about "History of China 7000-year technology". OOO... I especially like the embroidery part. The double-sided embroidery is so amazing. How can people do this ??  Chinese are actually very intelligent. They invented compass, printing, paper making, double-sided embroidery........spaghetti, pizza....lol yes... spaghetti and pizza are originally Chinese food... Marco Polo brought this idea back to Italy and gave them a different names. Anyway, we also saw an omnimax film about Chang Jiang,(long river) China. I don't really enjoy the film... we saw it inside a semi-sphere theatre, and it made me feel sick..dizzy.. and want to vomit. It's kind of embarrassing. When the film is over, I held Jason's arm and left the theatre. I swear I will NOT see this kind of films again.

We went to downtown afterwards, and I let him do some shopping so we met again in the restaurant at 7:00. We ate....... :) ......India food! We didn't talk much since he is so shy, and I am so sick (from the film). Silent..silent..and silent..lol... anyway, he will go back to HK next Wed. Hmmm...I forgot to ask him tonight before he left. Am I a good tour guide??
