Purchase a Windy Hollow Therapeutic Riding Centre's (WHTRC) Support Ribbon Banner or Logo.

Caring for horses is an expensive undertaking, as anybody in the equine industry will tell you!

Generally it costs us on average a thousand rand a month to keep a horse depending on what it is fed and on average about six hundred rand a month to keep the small ponies.

Many of the horses we have come from previously abusive homes, some of these having physical scars and difficulties that make them generally unsuitable for normal to hard or competitive work. Our therapy is offered mainly at a light walk to the challenged children we deal with, and so our horses are offered an opportunity at a useful existence and a happy home. During leisure time our horses walk together as one big content herd.

Up till now we have covered their costs with the income generated as a result of the therapy and rehabilitation program, but we have come to a point were this is no longer possible. The property from which we now work is less than a quarter of the size of our original property, we no longer have the grazing space that we had before. Meaning we are no longer able to produce enough of our own grass to sustain us for the year, we will now need to purchase this from an outside sources and this has increased our costs.

We can no longer care for our horses properly without your donations.

Purchase Of WHTRC Support Logo

Definitions:

"Corporate sponsor" means any company/ organization or individual purchasing a WHTRC support logo from the WHTRC to add to their website.

"WHTRC" refers to Windy Hollow Therapeutic Riding Centre, a company not having share capital, incorporated under section 21 of the Companies Act 61 of 1973, and a registered non-profit organization.

"WHTRC Support Logo" means the electronic logos as displayed as samples to be found at http://www.windyhollow.org.za/codonate.php

"WHTRC website" refers to http://www.windyhollow.org.za

Where this agreement refers to written notice, this shall include electronic communications such as e-mail, as defined in the electronic communications and transactions act no 25 of 2002.

WHTRC grants the corporate sponsor the right to display the WHTRC support logo on their website, subject to the following terms and conditions:

a. The banner or logo remains the intellectual property of the WHTRC at all times, and the WHTRC retains a common-law Copyright therein.
b. The banner or logo may only be used on the website approved by WHTRC, and the WHTRC retains the right to request any website to stop displaying the banner or logo.
c. The banner or logo must be displayed as shown by the samples, and may not be changed or modified in any way (without the word sample).
d. The corporate sponsor may only continue to display the banner or logo so long as they have paid to the monthly donation according to the following payment scheme:

In order to display the Green Label Logo, the sponsor needs to donate R300.00 per month.
In order to display the Yellow Label Logo, the sponsor needs to donate R400.00 per month
In order to display the Blue Label Logo, the sponsor needs to donate R500.00 per month.
In order to display the Red Label Logo, the sponsor needs to donate R600.00 per month.

e. Before the logo may be displayed, the donation must be paid in full initially, for the complete period that the logo will be displayed, up to a period of 12 months, to WHTRC.
f. Should the donor wish to display the logo for a period longer than 12 months, this payment is to be made on an annual basis.
g. The corporate sponsor is requested to inform WHTRC one month before the end of the 12 month period that they wish to renew their corporate sponsorship, indicating the new period in number of months, either by using WHTRC website page or by written notice to WHTRC. (Reminders will be sent out
h. Should the corporate sponsor wish to withdraw their sponsorship, withdrawal is subject to the following conditions:

Written notice must be sent to WHTRC.
A notice period of 1 month (30 days) must be given.
A handling fee of 15% of the total donation amount will be retained by WHTRC.
The remnants of the donation amount, less the amount calculated for number of months the logo has been displayed by the corporate sponsor, the one month�s notice period and the 15% handling fee, will be returned within 30 days to the corporate sponsor by WHTRC.
Immediately upon filing written notice to WHTRC of such cancellation, the corporate sponsor undertakes immediately to remove the logo from their website.

i. The corporate sponsor undertakes to create a hyperlink to WHTRC website, and maintain this link so long as they continue to display the logo.

j. Unless otherwise requested by clicking on the requisite box on the purchase a WHTRC support logo page, the corporate sponsors name and details as supplied to WHTRC will be displayed on WHTRC website.

At any time the corporate sponsor may request in writing that WHTRC to either display or remove their details from the sponsors' page, and WHTRC undertakes to do this within 48hours of receipt of such notice.
WHTRC undertakes to create a hyperlink to the corporate advertisers' website from WHTRC website, so long as the corporate sponsorship agreement should be in place, unless requested otherwise.

k. While every reasonable attempt will be made to ensure that the web site is available at all times on the World Wide Web, WHTRC will accept no liability whatsoever for any loss incurred as a result of WHTRC website being temporarily unavailable due to routine maintenance, telecommunications or equipment failure or any other cause. Nor will WHTRC refund any payments made, should such refund be requested as a result of the website being unavailable for any reason. l. The terms will be governed by South African law and the corporate sponsor consents to the jurisdiction of the Magistrate's Court having jurisdiction in terms of section 28 of the Magistrate's Court Act as amended. WHTRC reserves the right to institute proceedings or file a counterclaim in the division of the High Court of South Africa having jurisdiction. m. The terms and conditions remain the entirety of the agreement between WHTRC and the corporate sponsor, and may not be varied either by omission or any other manner, except by in writing and as consented to by both parties.
