At times in the past Windy Hollow has been faced with a difficulty in covering the costs of especially staff wages, and feed for our horses.
If you feel that you want to help, here are some ways that you can make a difference:
- Buy a "Friends of Windy Hollow" Golf Shirt.
- Or sign up to sponsor a child, a horse, products like dewormer etc, a staff members wages or a trainee instructors training course fees or SANEF exam fees!!
- If you are an experienced rider and don't have a horse of your own "Part-Bait" one of our horses, and offer them recreation from the serious work we do, or if you have a child that needs equine facilitated therapy we can teach you how to do it yourself. Conditions apply.
Donate
- Medical supplies for our horses: dewormers, vaccinations, bandages, gauze, etc
- Horse care equipment: Grooming equipment, halters, lead reins, etc.
- Other Tack: bridles, saddles, girths, stirrup leathers, etc.
- Safety equipment for staff and riders, safety helmets, boots and jodhpurs.
- Stationary for the office.
- Horse books, DVD's and other training material, anything that can be used to teach people how to look after their horses better.
- Food vouchers from Dog-On Horse and Hound Shop
- Services and expertise that might help the plight of the centre.
- Volunteer work at the centre.
- Promoting of the centre.
