INFORMATION: Magnetic Phone Cards usually have a magnetic strip which is 'charged', programmed or has information regarding to how much time as related to money one has available on the card to use for telephone calls. Every time the card is used, telephone companies have computers which will automatically 'discharge' these cards according to the duration spent on the phone. Usually the charges are per minute, though some long distance calls are charged per second in some countries.
