INFORMATION: These are very common kind of calling cards in many places around the world and are becoming more and more popular around the world because they are in-expensive to produce and they can be easily re-cycled when discarded. The way they work is that each card is sold with a unique pin-code which would identify it. Then when you buy it, you call a company that has made and sold the card, then they (either through personnel or computer) assist your call and route it to where it needs to go. In doing so, they know by that pin-code the initial denomination of the card (initial amount) and as you proceed, they reprogram the amount relating to that pin-code until the amount is exhausted.
