To export a cif file to go the main icfb window (the log window). Go File >> Export >> CIF

2. In the User-Defined Data, Make sure the Convert Pin to, geometry is selected. The Layer Map Table, the file should be cifMap002

3. Hit OK, now go to options make sure to check Dot Polygon

4. Now we go back to the main window, use the Browse command to pick the view you want to export (usually compacted or layout), the run directory will be "." and give the output file a name.

6. Watch the log window and make sure there are no errors, if completed successfully you will get this message.
