Lucrezia Noin

Noin... best seen as Zechs' faithful companion and friend, seems to have a dark past. We don't know a lot about her past, other than the fact that she along with Zechs graduated from the prestigious Lake Victoria Military Academy together, and she earned the second best score in the history of the academy. I think she could have scored the best, but to make Zechs look good, she allowed him to get the best score. Zechs hints at this in Episode 4. Then, at the age of 12, she graduates and becomes a part of the elite Specials mobile suit force, which is a front for OZ. She then becomes an instructor at the Lake Victoria Military Academy, and trains the new recruits. Her reputation as an instructor is excellent, and she claims to do this for her love of outer space. She has always hated wars, and pitys the men that have to die in battles. Then in the year A.C. 195, she also gets a chance of the spotlight when Zechs comes to the Lake Victoria Base in hopes to resurrecting the 20-year old Tallgeese. She seems to have strong feelings for Zechs, but I don't think he really understands.

There are some scenes between the two of them in Episode 4, and the one with Noin tapping Zechs' sword is really worth watching! ^_^ Ahem! Back to the Bio! But Zechs' visit was ruined after Wufei attacked the base. He was looking to destory the Taurus mobile suits, and he succeded partly because that Noin had underestimated him. But Wufei spared her, saying that he doesn't kill women. Noin was a bit upset after that, but Zechs helped her through. She then helps Zechs in many ways, and seems to know a lot about him. Somehow she knows that Zechs is Milliardo and Relena is his sister, so she helps Relena a lot as well, as a tribute to Zechs. She is also very loyal to Zechs, and she would probably follow him anywhere. She backs up this one by saying openly in Episode 16 that she indeed loves Zechs. (Gosh, I knew that was coming! ^_^) She also helps the Sanc Kingdom a lot, but I don't think for Relena's sake, but for Zechs. However, she does belive in Relena, but she seems to be more realistic than Relena, and when the Romefeller Foundation attacks, she realizes the need for a defense force.

When the White Fang rebels, and Zechs turns out to be their leader, Noin wants to go see what's going on. She's thinking that Zechs has to be rebelling for a reason, and he is. Just not the reason she is thinking about. She thought that he was rebelling for the Sanc Kingdom, but he was not. You can see my explination here. But she is shocked that Zechs then pulls a weapon on her, and she is left confused and sad. However, at the end of Episode 47, she finds out what Zechs' true intentions are and she understands. After the war, only Noin belived that Zechs was alive, somewhere out there. And he was. In the year A.C. 196, Noin joined the Preventers as Preventer Fire. Zechs also comes back, and fights alongside her as Preventer Wind. After the war, Noin goes with Zechs to help Relena with the terraforming project on Mars. Overall, she's a pretty serious person and dislikes war, but she's not rambling like Relena. She tends to be more realistic. But she is very devoute to the cause and backs up her opinons and the Sanc Kingdom and she also supports Relena. Besides, she can kick some tail in a MS and is Zechs' companion, so I've gotta like her! ^_^
