The most significant achievement of organization for the moment is becoming a member of medical and social institutions of Public Health system in Sughd Region and acquiring legal status of activity. Equal relationships with all medical institutions of the region and confirmation of social rehabilitation institute as one of the most important elements of providing narcological support to the people suffering from drug addiction can serve as an example.
At present YCPR “DINA” is a member of “Harm Reduction” Projects network in Central Asia, a partner of non-government organizations network in Ferghana Valley for “Removal of Conflicts and Tolerance”, a member of European and Central Asian network of non-government organizations involved in advocacy of the rights and interests of HIV/AIDS infected people. YCPR “DINA” is a permanent member of the Youth Union of Khujand city for prevention of drug addiction among teenagers.
With the purpose of removing possible stigma and discrimination of drug users, sex employees and HIV/AIDS infected people in different medical institutions of Khujand city, starting from September to December, 2002 there had been undertaken activity to reach agreement between YCPR “DINA” and other organizations of public health system on the issues of providing medical aid to drug users and sex employees.
On 31 July 2001 Monar Association (Poland) and YCPR “DINA” concluded agreement of intentions and cooperation aimed at development and support of NGOs activity in the sphere of public health, education and human rights protection. The objectives of agreement were training, probation, rehabilitation and training in the sphere of rehabilitation.
Since December 2002 implementation of the project “HIV Infection Prevention in Central Asia” started in the frame of the program “Drug Use Harm Reduction” under the support of USAID and OSI (Soros Foundation). Realization of this project enabled to take timely actions in HIV prevention among injection drug users, including sex employees. As a result of preventive measures undertaken there was established close cooperation with law enforcement agencies in the person of the Management of Agency for drug control under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in Sughd Region and Internal Affairs Department of Khujand city government in the issues related to protection of arrested drug users rights and prevention of stigma of HIV/AIDS infected people. This cooperation is reflected in annual plan of joint actions agreed with the management of above-mentioned law enforcement agencies. Nowadays preventive activities cover 211 injection drug users.
Since April 2003 in joint collaboration with experts of the Management of Agency for drug control and under support of Social Development Center “Accord” taking into account significance of conducting systematic work on prevention of HIV infection distribution, in consequence of involvement of teenagers and the youth in injection drug use, there had been started realization of pilot testing project among 10 secondary schools of Khujand city on adaptation of the Program “Prevention of Drug Addiction and Problems of Sexual Health of Teenagers” aimed at increasing the level of knowledge of teenagers in the issues related to the risk of HIV infection. In the course of project implementation there had been established closed partner relationships with public education department and the management of Khujand city government in the issues related to coordination of efforts and resolution of organizational problems.
Since February 2003 psychological and social support is being provided for HIV-infected people. This activity is directed towards promoting the interests and protecting the rights of HIV/AIDS infected people in order to prevent possible stigma and discrimination of those people in Tajikistan. This activity is connected with some difficulties related to novelty of HIV problem among local residents, feeling of despair and loneliness of HIV infected people. To resolve this problem there should be carried out serious spade-work and overall social services, that will start from attracting and involving HIV infected people to activity of organization.
In August 2003 in joint collaboration with partner organizations from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan under support of ABA and ZdravPlus Uzbekistan there had been organized participation of 6 teenagers from Kairakkum, Chkalovsk and Khujand cities in International Summer School of Tolerance held in Namangan, Uzbekistan. Since October 2003 there had been opened Clubs of Tolerant Debates in two secondary schools of Khujand and Khairakkum in order to involve teenagers in resolving the problems related to drug use and risk of HIV infection.
As a result of laborious work on 25 December 2002 YCPR “DINA” signed multilateral agreements with the following institutions:

On 26 August 2003 this the purpose of establishing close relations and development of cooperation in the name of democracy progress, strengthening neighborly relations between the countries of Ferghana Valley, YCPR “DINA” (Tajikistan), Youth Center “Sadoqat” (Uzbekistan) and Youth Community Development Foundation “Sivika” (Kyrgyzstan) concluded agreement of joint activity.
Since November 2004 “DINA” has been one of the founders of Tajik Association for Harm Reduction, the members of which are: Association “Volunteer” in Khorog town, Social Association “Marvorid” in Dushanbe, Social Association “RAN” in Dushanbe, Social Association “Vorisoni Sino” in Kurgan-tyube, Social Association “Anti-SPID” in Khujand, Social Association “Buzurg” in Penjikent.
