This is someone all true-blue MSU students knows well. Mr Sparty is MSU's mascot. He's the reason why MSU students are also known as the "Spartans". A statue of him can be found along a main road on campus, so that most people pass by him on their way to class everyday.

Unfortunately, he's also often the victim of vandals. In the most recent case of vandalism, a set of blue and yellow palm prints were found on his butt, leading police to suspect the culprits to be students from University of Michigan.

By the way, MSU's official colors are green and white.

This is Mr Sparty's cartoon persona. He takes on this form on MSU merchandises and when appearing as a mascot for games.

And this is the inside of our Spartan Stadium. We haven't been inside yet but we suspect that this is definitely bigger than our National Stadium back in Singapore!!! Unfortunately, we missed the football season which is usually in the fall, from September to November. Still, we are hoping to catch some action there when the snow thaws and it starts hosting some other games like softball.
