We went down to visit Ann Arbor, a nearby town which contains the University of Michigan. Rivalry is
intense between the two colleges but hey, we were just neutrals who went
to check them out.
This is their famed clock tower which actually has someone playing the huge bells inside the tower during scheduled periods.
Umich has a lake by one of their buildings and we decided to go and check out the frozen lake surface. The ice and the snow just looked too smooth and Derrick had an irrepressible urge to make a snow angel. The rest of us just watched in horror as he laid on the snow and started flapping his "wings" and legs.
Much as we hate to admit though, the final product turned out to be pretty good. Note the lop-sided halo though.^_^
