After the quick tour in the morning, we were all geared up to go skiing.

This time, when we arrived at the resort, the place was bursting with life and activities. The sense of excitement overwhelmed us and we were rushing to get our equipment and start down the slope.

Alas, we forgot that before you can start down the slope, you need to climb up first! And we couldn't even get up the beginner's slope using the moving hand-belt that pulled us along. We couldn't maintain our balance going up and ended up rolling about in the snow before we finally get a hang of it.

The menacing looking intermediate slope that we didn't have a chance to cross over from the beginner slope.

You have no idea how difficult it was for all of us to get into position for this shot. Derrick and Junie was on the verge of sliding down the slope, Ka Min and Meng Hua were trapped in their snowboards and couldn't move at all and me, my two legs kept wanting to move in opposite directions.

It was bad enough that we kept falling and our ski poles went flying in all directions, but the ground was so icy that it was actually painful falling into the snow. So most of us ended up with bruises and aches all over our body as we battled to master the slope.

There were a couple of kids who were skiing with us on the slopes and we look to them in envy as they ski and snow board effortlessly after a few tries. They soon move on to the more challenging slopes while we were still stranded up the slopes, trying to stand up fall after fall.

Posing for a new shot after all the hard work, but the poor photographer (me) has to struggle to press the shutter button with my thick gloves on and all those artificial snow spraying onto my head.

The ski adventure was over all too soon. We had only 2 hours to ski as we needed to return the rented car by 6pm.

We took the Metro back to the hotel after that and pack our stuff for our trip back to London via train.
