New York is a place that is both iconically American and genuinely international. "It's just like in the movies!" is something visitors have many occasions to say this when walking around town. We have a block of rooms set aside at the Crowne Plaza United Nations located at 42nd Street & 2nd Avenue, two blocks east of Grand Central Station.

The Crowne Plaza is a historic 4-star hotel with nice rooms and amenities, and is a member of the IC Hotels group which includes InterContinental, Holiday Inn, Staybridge and Candlewood Suites (for anyone who is interested in how this might relate to their frequent gust reward program).

The room block is for Saturday June 25th, with "shoulder dates" a few days before and after that will allow the guests to have the same rate for several days.

The room rate is $150 and should be booked as soon as possible. The rooms can be reserved by calling 800-227-6963 and you must ask for the Mercado/Stillwell Wedding rate. 

In case the people at central reservations are confused about making the room arrangements for you, please ask to be transferred to the (more informed) in-house reservations desk. You can also call them directly at 212-986-8800; this line is answered Mondays-Fridays from 7am-7pm, and Saturdays from 9am-5pm.
