Coin Island

Trick = You are able to get the water out of the ashtray without moving or tilting the ashtray. (Good for making bets)
Preparation = 1 glass, a matchbook, 6 quarters and an ashtray with water
Method = Make Sure that the ashtray is filled with at most a quarter inch of water. Stack the quarters in the center of the ashtray so that the top 2 quarters are above the water. Place 4 unlit matches on top of the quarters. Light the matches and immediately cover the flame and quarters with the glass and all the water should be drawn into the glass.

Light A Used Match

Trick = You take out a box of matches and go to light your cigarette or candle but when you open them they are all used. 
You then say I hate that when people put used matches back in the box, oh sorry it was me I hate it when I do that. You then proceed to take out the used match and strike it and it lights. You can have them already stashed in the dirty ashtray and take one out and then light your cigarette or candle. 
Method = All you have to do to make it look like it is a used match is dip the match in black ink, and then wait for it to dry. Then dip it in ash and it will look like a used match but when you strike it the match will light like any normal match.

magicians wax substitute

Trick = tired of spending 4-5 bucks for a tiny chunk of magicians wax? go to Wal-Mart (or any store that has a pharmacy) and buy some dental wax AKA orthodontic wax.
works just as well if not better than magicians wax and only costs about a buck for the same amount you would get buying the real stuff. (as an added bonus it is mint flavored. Ha Ha)
