Two=one

Trick = The magician shows two ropes then he pushes the ends into his hand and then pulls the opposite ends and the two strings are made into one.
Preparation = Take some string the kind that is made of like 2-4 pieces of string twisted together and then separate them. In the middle. Then take half of them and take the middles of those and twist them. Then do the same with the other half of the middles. Now if you hold them where the center of them would be if they were a poorly made X shape then it looks like you have two strings.
Method = Take out the strings and show them around. Then tuck the short gaffed ends into the hand and then pull the opposite ends and wala its one.

Water To Ice

Trick = A glass of water is poured out and turned into an ice cube! 
Method = Beforehand place a sponge in the bottom of the cup, and put an ice cub in the same cup. In another cup put water in up to where it will fill up about 1/4 of the first cup. Have the cup of water inspected. Pour a little water in the cup with the sponge. Turn the cup with the sponge in it upside down and amazingly the water turned to ice.

Trick = A magic marker is chosen and taken by the blindfolded magician then while the marker is still behind the magicians back the color of the marker is revealed.
Preparation = Get a 12 pack of those smelly markers. Then memorize how each color smells.
Method = Get blindfolded, get a spec to select a color and you put it behind your back, then you get a little marker on your hand and close the lid again concentrating on the color then you bring your hand fourth and smell your hand but make it look like you are just thinking. Then put your hand behind and then reveal the color which corresponds to the smell.
