QUARTER GONE

Trick = Borrow a quarter and cover it with a handkerchief or napkin. Ask someone to feel if it is still there. He says yes. Then, a few waves of your hand... and it's gone!
Method = Borrow a quarter and hold it in the fingertips of your left hand. Drape the handkerchief over the coin so that the quarter is in the center of the handkerchief. 
Ask someone to check if the coin is still there. Direct him to feel the coin underneath the handkerchief. Then, ask your friend to do the same thing — except, your friend will secretly remove the coin and place it into his pocket! 
Then, do a few "magic passes" and — voila! — the coin has disappeared!' 
Trust me... this will work!

Stand Up Tie

Trick = The magicians neck tie raises and falls as the magician commands it to.
Preparation = Attach some black thread to the bottom of your tie. Then get enough string for it to drape over your shoulder and your arm can reach it.
Method = When commanding it to raise, reach behind your back for the string and pull up the tie. You can also make it go down by slowly releasing the string.

easy needle through balloon

Trick = the magician brings a balloon on stage and clearly sticks a large needles through the balloon but it still doesn't pop.
Preparation = blow up a balloon tie it and stick two pieces of sticky tape in a cross close to the top.
the balloon should not have to much air in it so that it is not very tight.
Method = simply take out the balloon and stick the needle through it at the middle of the sticky tape cross.
if the balloon is gaffed correctly the sticky tape will hold it together and it will not pop.
